It'd be nice to have a global menu for wiki pages, so we can put useful and frequently used links like ones to the manual, egg index, chickadee and others.

On IRC we've discussed about how to regenerate the pages when the menu changes and, if I understand correctly, removing all the html files when the menu is changed sounds like a reasonable solution (so the pages will be regenerated with the new menu when accessed).

An initial version has been implemented in [18360]. Please create new tickets if bugs are discovered in that code.
