man pages deficient

Description
As reported by Andrew Pennebaker in this chicken-users post, CHICKEN's man pages are awfully scant.
It would be nice if both the man pages and chicken -h et al. based their option listings on a single source during builds, which would make it easy to keep them up to date.

I've created mdoc manual pages which merge info from previous manual pages and usage messages.
These could replace the current manual pages of chicken.
Mandoc tool can convert mdoc to man format easily. Release tarballs could contain manuals in man and mdoc format. Build process could then decide which format to copy.
