Hi Felix,

It seems that something is wrong with chicken from the master branch (see http://tests.call-cc.org/run-salmonella-2011-07-18.log.txt for the error). By git bisecting, I've found that 4e8ef70c5edeb6d4d0d81923842a57300bab253c is the culprit.

Attached is a patch that makes the build process work (I just don't know if it is the right fix).
