| 3 | The single most useful feature of the old manual was the index. I had it bookmarked in my browser, which ''really'' speeds up development. Often times you know the name, but not the semantics, or you're looking for a function that does something slightly different from a function you already know. Having an index is no luxury, it's a necessity IMHO. |
